今日は、昨日と打って変わって澄み切った青空が広がった。家の外へ出ると、辺りに、金木製の強烈な香りが漂っていた。もう、すっかり秋です。今年もこの村の美しい秋の風景が見られるかと思うと、急にテンションが上がって、早速、素振りを開始した。
コロナ禍で「Stay Home」という言葉が流行っいるが、嫌だね。僕が好きなのは、ポールヤングの「wherever I lay my hat 」の中で歌われる「That’s My Home」だ。意味は俺が帽子を置くところは、どこでも俺の居場所。つまり住めば都ということかな？ 早いもので、伊豆へ来てから、今年で１１年目だ。
